George Gabritsos
Managing Director and General Manager

George Gabritsos established SYNED in 1996 and spearheaded the creation of the infrastructure for the first digital DTH satellite platform in Greece known as NOVA. In addition to running SYNED he formulates technical strategy and co-ordinates technical activities within the NetMed group in Greece while contributing to the formulation of corporate strategy and its execution. During the '80's he held engineering and management positions at the CBS Technology Center and the CBS Television Network in the USA and later he became the Technical Director of MEGA Channel, the first commercial TV channel in Greece, which he helped launch and establish during its first 6 years of operation. George graduated with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York in 1980. He has designed and developed electronic devices and systems, holds a US patent and has authored technical papers and articles in the US and in Greece. He's member of IEEE and SMPTE, for which he served as International Governor.

Constantinos Kalavas
Digital Transmission Center Manager

Constantinos Kalavas obtained his diploma of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

He joined SYNED in 1996 as a Digital Systems Engineer for the digital platform of NOVA. He was appointed as Manager of the Digital Transmission Center in SYNED December 2001 being responsible for Operations and Engineering for the digital head-end facilities.

Dino Theodosiou
Finance Manager

Dino Theodosiou graduated from UNISA University in South Africa with an Honours Degree in Accounting & Finance. Following this he passed the Chartered Accountant's Board Examination of South Africa. He completed his articles (practical auditing experience) at KPMG South Africa. Following this he joined IBM South Africa. During the nine years he served in the company he held positions of Finance Analyst, Total Company Analyst, Accounts Receivable Manager and finally Accounting Manager. In 1993 he joined KPMG Greece as an Audit Manager for one and a half years. In 1994, he joined the NetMed Group of Companies as Finance Manager of the channel company NetMed Hellas. He is currently the Finance Manager of Syned SA and NetMed SA as well as the NetMed Group Consolidation Manager.
